On the 6th of November, was held the ING New York Marathon, being PERU.COM TRAVEL agency official for the whole team of Peru for 13 consecutive years, leading the group of runners who are prepared carefully for more than 1 year in advance in Runners and Run Peru Peru, to be fit in this demanding test of 42 km journey from Staten Island to the finish in Central Park, passing bridges and other districts across New York.

This year we had 108 participants from Peru, 82 men and 26 women, and we were lucky to have a fellow, Mr. Daniel Daly, who had the best time getting to the goal post 23 of 47,000 runners with a time of 2 : 25.23 hrs. Congratulations to each and every one of the participants for their dedication and effort.

All parties on the marathon with much enthusiasm at 6am, starting from the Manhattan hotel on two buses to Staten Island, and then we had a nice meeting of fellowship with all the well-deserved medals recounting their experiences and anecdotes. It's a great lesson of life is strength of each participant and provided encouragement to achieve new goals.
